​Mike has a degree in Horticulture from the University of Nebraska and is one of Nebraska’s first members of the prestigious American Institute of Floral Designers. Sally, a registered dietician, recently earned her Ph.D specializing in nutrition and health sciences. They have been combining their talents and creating outstanding events for 40 years. After 20 years in retail with a culinary market, complete catering, floral design, and home and garden accessories shop, Mike and Sally have decided to concentrate their efforts into a by-appointment design studio. Throughout the years, the couple have designed and orchestrated the logistics of every detail to create countless memorable events across the country. From California vineyards, midwestern cornfields, Nantucket tented beachfronts to the roof of New York’s Saint Regis Hotel and literally every venue in between, Hillis & Company have brought dreams to reality.
